Digestive system
* Jellyfish do not have a specialized digestive system. Food goes into the Jellyfish through the mouth which is found in the middle of the bell. Then, the food is trapped in the gastrovascular cavity and the nutrients are absorbed by the gastrodermis. The waste products also leave through the mouth. Jellyfish are carnivores and they feed on zooplankton and other jellyfish. Jellyfish poison the food they are about to capture with their tentacles.
