Large Human Roundworms
Infertile egg of a Human roundworm
Large roundworms in humans can cause humans to develop contracting diseases that cause certain things to happen. Some of the common causes of these roundworms are stomach aches, fever, and diarrhea. Roundworms that carry diseases are very easy to pick up. Children pick up certain diseases from these animals when they touch certain larvae in public places and then don't wash their hands. Once these eggs are into the body, they hatch and the worms can move through the intestine, eat through the walls, and then get into the bloodstream, causing major diseases.
Human roundworms have a very simple but definite digestive system. It includes a mouth, a pharynx, an intestine, and an anus. Human roundworms always eat off the host where they live. They eat away at the animal, in this case, the human intestines. When the "food" is ingested, it passes through the pharynx and then enters the intestine. In the intestine, the nutrients needed for the survival of this animal is passed throughout the animal. The food is broken down and the waste is excreted/released through the anus.
