Digestive System
* Food enters the clam through lip-like structures called labial palps and goes into the mouth. Food then moves down the esophagus and into the stomach, which is found within the liver. Waste materials go into the intestines and out the rectum. A clams digestive system is like a humans. The difference is that a clam feeds by filtering the water around it.
